AHHS/CEDL Travel Bursary

In recognition of our members achievements the AHHS/CEDL continues the support of the travel bursary program for 2011. This travel bursary will be available to the riders and/or horses who qualify for National and International Competitions.

This includes but is not limited to CET Medal Finals, Jump Canada Young Horse National Finals, North American Young Riders Competition, and F.E.I. Children’s Finals competitions.

Riders, owners, and trainers must be current members in good standing of the both Equine Canada and the AHHS/ CEDL.

The athlete applying for funding must send a letter requesting the purpose for your funding needs. The letter of application can be sent to the Alberta Hunter Horse Society via email by December 1st of the current year in which you are applying.

Elements to be included in your application letter should include but is not limited to:

• Equestrian experience

• Achievements for current year

• Use of funding for which you are applying.

Additional letters of support from coaches and parents will also be considered.
